REHOBOTH, Mass. (WPRI) — Police have arrested and charged two Pawtucket men for breaking and entering a Rehoboth home, and this week’s wintry weather helped them track down one of the suspects.
Davhon Shelton and Seny Samb, both 20 years of age, were taken into custody just after 4 p.m. Thursday, according to police.
Officers told us they were responding to a house alarm on Rocky Hill Road when they received a call about two suspicious males in the area who were jumping behind snow banks to hide any time a vehicle drove by.
Police tracked down the pair and started to question them when one attempted to flee on foot. The officers were soon able to capture him by his tracks in the snow.
Shelton has been charged with breaking and entering a building in the daytime for a felony, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, and was ordered held on $5,000 bail. Samb was charged with breaking and entering a building in the daytime and resisting arrest and released on $1,000 bail.
Both suspects pleaded not guilty in court on Friday. They’re due back in court in March.
