The Friars were led by Junior LaDontae Henton who scored 26 points and grabbed 14 rebounds.

PC will play Creighton for the Big East title Saturday night. The Bluejays secured a spot in the final round following a 86-78 victory over Xavier.

Providence split its two regular season match-ups with Creighton. However, the Friars fell to the Bluejays by double digits just last week.

With a win over Creighton in the Big East final, Providence can guarantee itself a trip to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in ten years.
