UXBRIDGE, Mass. (WPRI) — A Level 3 sex offender and $10 million scratch ticket winner has been arrested again for crimes against children.
Daniel Snay, 62, of Elmwood Avenue, was arrested Friday by Uxbridge Police for indecent assault and battery on a child, reckless endangerment of a child, enticement of a child, and dissemination of pornography to a minor.
Snay is listed as a Level 3 sex offender in the Massachusetts Sex Offender Registry. Uxbridge Police will be working with Rhode Island and Conencticut State Police, as authorities believe his crimes spanned those states over a four-year period.
Snay was the recipient of a $10 million scratch ticket back in 2008, which allegedly aided Snay in his crimes. He has a lengthy criminal record that dates back to the 1970s.
Snay is being held without bail at Uxbridge Police Headquarters and will be arraigned Monday.
The Uxbridge Police Department is asking anyone with information involving Daniel Snay to contact the Department’s Sexual Assault Unit.
