Cops: Four RI men tied up homeowner; stole cash

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) – Four men are accused of tying up a West Greenwich homeowner last year while robbing his house of electronics and cash, according to allegations made by the Rhode Island State Police.

Adalberto Martinez, 21, Gabriel Acosta, 20, Soilandro Disla, 22, and Juan Morel, 20, were each indicted Thursday on charges of burglary, first degree robbery, assault with a dangerous weapon in a dwelling and conspiracy.

According to the prosecution, the four men broke into a West Greenwich home on June 29, 2013. Police claim the defendants held the homeowner at gunpoint and stole electronics, cash and other items from the house.

All four defendants are scheduled to be arraigned in superior court on April 11.
