WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — A home was left badly damaged after flames broke out just after 11 a.m. Tuesday.
According to Warwick fire officials, the only person inside when the fire broke out made it out safely. The house had been vacant for years and was undergoing renovations by the new owner when the flames began.
The home sustained heavy damage and may be a total loss, according to the fire department.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
