Russian-born star key to P-Bruins’ success

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) – Russian-born center Alexander Khokhlachev is quickly earning the attention of the Boston Bruins, as he is putting together a stellar season in Providence.

Khokhlachev, who was drafted by the Bruins in the second round of the 2011 NHL draft, is the leading scorer on the Providence Bruins of the AHL. He is second in the team in goals, first in assists and has 56 total points on the year.
