What better way to start the weekend than with some cocktails. Frank Martucci, General Manager of Beverage Operations at Twin River, joined The Rhode Show to demonstrate some of the cocktails featured in April’s Rhode Island Monthly issue.
The Wink (featured in RI Monthly)
1 1/4 oz. of Rum, 1 1/4 oz. Falernum, 3/4 oz. Orange Liqueur, 2 oz. of Black Tea, 3/4 oz. of Lemon Juice, barspoon of Orgeat…spritz of pineapple bitters…Served in a double rocks glass or copper mug. Garnish with sprig of mint & an edible orchid.
(Great to batch in a punch bowl as well)
The Bloody & Sand (made your way)
3/4 oz. your choice of Scotch, Whiskey or Mezcal, 3/4 oz. Cherry brandy, 3/4 oz. Sweet Vermouth & 3/4 oz. fresh Orange Juice.
Shake & serve straight up in martini glass or on the rocks in single rocks glass. Garnish with an orange peel.
The Southern Lavender Lady
2 oz. Bourbon, 1/2 oz. Cynar, 3/4 oz. fresh Lemon Juice, 1oz. Lavender Syrup.
Served in double rocks glass. Serve with a fresh sprig of lavender.
