CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — Cranston’s city council is set to meet Monday night in executive session for a briefing on the investigation into the city’s overnight parking ticket scandal from last November.
Mayor Allan Fung told WPRI.com he also plans to discuss personnel matters related to the investigation.

The mayor had already called for the termination of police union president Capt. Stephen Antonucci; an investigation accused Antonucci of ordering an increase in parking tickets in specific neighborhoods as political retribution, after two councilors representing those neighborhoods voted against a new police contract.
The council is set to meet at the council chambers at City Hall at 6 p.m. Monday.
