Lifeguards wanted in the Ocean State

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) – The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management is looking to hire certified lifeguards for state beaches and parks.

Several positions are available at Lincoln Woods, Fort Adams, and Goddard Memorial State Parks, as well as Misquamicut, Scarborough and East Manutuck Beaches.

The pay ranges from $9.50 to $11.75 per hour. Lifeguards will work 40 hours a week, including weekends and holidays.
