PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — A grand jury has indicted a Providence woman on an arson charge for a fire in the city last November.
Toni Irons, 46, of 184 Linwood Ave., is facing a charge of first-degree arson according to the Attorney General’s office.
Irons is accused of setting fire to 114 Althea Street on Nov. 23 of last year. Several people told police they saw her leaving the building with bags just before the flames broke out.
Two firefighters suffered minor injuries battling the fire.
Irons is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on April 30.
