AAA: Gas prices up 4 cents in RI

(WPRI) — Gasoline prices in Rhode Island are up four cents from last week.

AAA Southern New England’s latest price survey, released Monday, found the average cost of a gallon of self-serve regular in the state is $3.64.

Prices locally are four cents higher than one month ago, but the current price is three cents less than the national average at $3.67.

A year ago at this time Rhode Island’s average price was 12 cents lower at $3.52.
