April is national oral cancer awareness month

Practicing good oral hygiene is something we should all be doing on a regular basis, as well as seeing the dentist every six months.

In addition to daily flossing and brushing, it is important to be on the lookout for any warning signs which could lead to diseases of the mouth, including oral cancer.

The outstanding team at Southcoast Smiles and Perfect Smiles provided us with some tips on how to protect ourselves from this potentially deadly condition. In addition, to help you, they are offering free oral cancer screenings throughout the month.
