Skating event to benefit cancer research set for Sunday

(WPRI) – Grab your skates and hit the ice this weekend for an afternoon of fun to benefit the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

The second annual PMC Ice Hockey Game will host the Dana-Faber Cancer Institute Doctors and Nurses versus the Mass Spitfires. After the game there will be a night of fun including minute-to-find-a-cure games, chuck-a-puck, raffles, and games on the ice.

The event, which is scheduled for Sunday afternoon, will take place at the Foxboro Sports Center at 10 Belcher Road in Foxboro, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.

Admission is just $10 for the Jimmy Fund.
