FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI) — Police are reaching out to the public with hopes of identifying a man accused of holding up a Fall River bank.
Mechanics Cooperative Bank on Bedford Street was robbed at about 2:30 p.m. on May 7, according to police.
Police said a man demanded money from the teller while displaying what may have been a firearm wrapped in cloth material.
The suspect is described as a white male in his thirties, standing approximately 5’3″ to 5’5″ tall. A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the suspect, police said.
On April 22, police reported the same bank was robbed in a similar manner, but police have not said if the crimes are connected.
