PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — The trial for a Warren man suspected of molesting three children has been pushed back to September.

Richard Perry, 56, was indicted by a grand jury last year on three counts of second degree child molestation. He’s pleaded not guilty to accusations that he molested three separate children.

Perry’s trial has been moved to Sept. 15, because of a medical issue for the defense attorney, according to the Rhode Island Attorney General’s office.

Perry was previously a Bristol Little League umpire and coach, as well as a custodian at Kickemuit Middle School in Warren.

Back in March, Perry and his brother Jesse both turned down plea agreement offers. Jesse Perry also charged with 11 counts of sex crimes against children.
