Keep cool and cut costs this summer

We have already gotten a taste of the warm weather, and with more on the way it’s time to start planning how you are going to keep your house cool and comfortable this summer.

Jason Robert from Dupuis Energy joined the Rhode Show Thursday to share tips on how to keep your house cool and cut costs.

Homeowners can cut the costs of running their air conditioners by shading windows, shifting the use of appliances to cooler times of the day, and using exhaust fans to remove humidity from bathroom and kitchens.

There are also incentives and rebates available for air conditioner upgrades and installation – such as Mass Save and Cool Smart – that can be found on the Dupuis website.
