Warren police seek armed, violent robbery suspect

WARREN, R.I. (WPRI) – Police are searching for suspects after they say an armed robber violently held up two stores within one week

The alleged robber held up the Launder N’ Luxury on May 8 after a clerk told police the suspect asked her for change, and then grabbed her arm and took money from the open cash drawer.

super martOn May 14, a man with a similar description asked the clerk at the nearby Super Mart for change, and then hit him with a wood stick when he opened the drawer.

The victim’s wife told Eyewitness News that she hopes justice is served. “I pray and I have faith and I said I hope they catch the guy. It will be better for us really,” said Super Mart co-owner Fadia Youssef.

Warren police are asking anyone with information to call the police department.
