8th grader makes top 10 in national Geography Bee

Do you know whether California or Maine has a better climate for growing citrus fruits? How about which Canadian province manufactures more than half of the nation’s goods?

One local 8th grader might be able to help you with those answers and more.

Max Levine from Wheeler School joined the Rhode Show Friday to talk about his recent experience competing on a national level. Levine just returned home from the National Geographic Geography Bee in Washington D.C.

This was his second time taking part in the contest and he made it to the top 10.
