WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) – If you’re picking someone up at Warwick’s T.F. Green Airport, you will have to follow a new route.
Airport officials announced Thursday that all traffic will be directed to pick up at the arrivals roadway inside curb prior to the crosswalk area. This means anyone picking up should pull into the first curb area as they enter the roadway immediately in front of the airport terminal building.
Those waiting for an arriving flight to land should park at the cell phone waiting lot located at 2282 Post Road in Warwick.
Beginning on Wednesday, June 4, the taxi stand will also be more convenient to use. Taxis will now be waiting at the inside curb of the lower level arrivals area roadway, to the immediate right when leaving the terminal. This will be a shorter walk and more convenient waiting place for those using a taxi.
Additional signage will be posted and airport police will help to direct drivers and passengers.
