The Buzz: Wedding Traditions

They say a marriage is give-and-take. Couples often need to share everything once they are married. But, there’s one thing that some brides just aren’t willing to say goodbye to.

A recent survey found that 26 percent of women want to keep their maiden names after their wedding. It’s a common tradition in the U.S. for women to take the last name of their husbands.

Another nine percent want to ditch the traditional white gown, and go for some color on their dress.

But, there are some traditions that never change, 76 percent of women want their father to walk them down the aisle.

Discussion: Would you want to keep your maiden name? What other wedding traditions would you keep or shy away from?
