Have you caught World Cup fever? Some very proud American sports fans have, and it was a great start for Team USA in the World Cup Monday.

The team beat out Ghana, the same team which eliminated the U.S. in each of the past two World Cups.

While soccer may not be the most popular game in U.S. sports, local fans still packed Charlie O’s in Narragansett where a party was held. People there cheered on Attleboro native and URI alum, Geoff Cameron, who starts for Team USA.
