Trio charged in Tiverton car breaks

TIVERTON, R.I. (WPRI) — Tiverton police are thanking town residents for reporting a series of car break-ins, which led to the arrest of three suspects.

Kyle Simons, 20, Devin O’Loughlin, 19, and an unidentified juvenile were apprehended Thursday after a brief foot chase in the area of Haskins Avenue, according to police.

Police said property from six separate vehicles was seized during the arrest.

Simons and O’Loughlin were arraigned in court on 13 counts, and bail was set at $2,500 with surety.
