Woody Allen’s handprint added to local ‘Walk of Fame’

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) – Woody Allen’s hands have been officially enshrined in Pawtucket asphalt.

The Oscar-winning writer and director has been in Rhode Island for several weeks shooting a new movie starring Emma Stone and Joaquin Phoenix. He agreed to add his handprints to Pawtucket’s “Walk of Fame” – located outside the old Riverside Diner.

Allen’s prints were placed near those of Dustin Hoffman, Dennis Franz and Michael Corrente – who left their imprints when they filmed “American Buffalo” in Rhode Island back in 1996.
