This week we’re ‘On the Rhode’ to some of Southern New England’s best beaches to have some summer fun before heading back to school.
On Tuesday, Rhode Show Co-Host Brendan Kirby hit the sand at East Matunuck Beach in South Kingstown, to continue the week at a beautiful spot that attracts tourists from around the country.
“We have one of the top hotels on the planet – the Ocean House – it’s ranked fifth in the globe,” said Myrna George, CEO and President of South County Tourism.
East Matunuck is also very ecologically sensitive. If you walk the coastline during the colder months you can see birds living in the area, seals sunbathing, and a lively ecosystem.
