PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — A Pawtucket man was arrested after police said he swung a Samurai sword at his neighbors during an apparent dispute.
Timothy Greve, 28, is facing three counts of felony assault following an incident Wednesday night near his home on Allen Avenue.
According to Pawtucket Police Maj. Arthur Martins, the incident started as a verbal dispute between Greve and three neighbors and escalated to him taking out the sword and swinging it at them.
Fortunately, no one was struck.
Martins said Greve then went back inside his home to hide the sword, and officers arrived on scene a short time later to take him into custody.
It’s not yet clear what led to the dispute.
