Woonsocket taking pothole reports online

WOONSOCKET (WPRI) — The city of Woonsocket is now taking pothole repair reports on its website, Mayor Lisa Baldelli-Hunt announced in a news release Thursday.

“Potholes are not only annoying and costly to motorists, but to the city as well,” said Baldelli-Hunt. “With the use of the Internet and the help of our residents, it is my hope that we will be able to fix these problem areas before they get more costly.”

Potholes are repaired Monday through Friday, but if a pothole presents “a clear and present danger” to motorists on weekends, the city encourages residents to call the police department as well as log a pothole report on the website. The Woonsocket police dispatch number is (401) 766-1212.
