WORCESTER, Mass. (WPRI) — Emergency Management officials from the City of Worcester have reported a severe weather incident in the Grafton Hill neighborhood, with several large trees downed and a power outage currently affecting about 150 homes.
Members of the Worcester Police Department, Worcester Fire Department, and DPW remain on scene assist residents.
Residents are asked to stay away from downed power lines and areas of flooding where power lines may not be visible.
There are no reported injuries at this time. The city will continue to keep the public notified as information becomes available.
