MANSFIELD, Mass. (WPRI) — Police have arrested a suspect in this week’s bank robbery in Mansfield.
Michelle Dinnocenzo is accused of holding up the Rockland Federal Credit Union on Copeland Drive Tuesday afternoon.
Investigators say she disguised herself by placing a medical patch over her right eye, and wearing sunglasses and several layers of clothing.
Police said Dinnocenzo had recently been to court on open criminal charges. They were able to identify her and secure a search warrant for a home on West Church Street.
Dinnocenzo was arrested there for being a disorderly person.
Inside that apartment, investigators said they found the clothing that the suspect was photographed wearing during the bank robbery, and money consistent with the type of bills stolen from the branch.
Dinnocenzo was charged with unarmed robbery, larceny over $250 and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. She was held on $50,000 cash bail and is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday at Attleboro District Court.
