EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Two East Providence families are being assisted by the Red Cross after they were forced from their homes by a fire late Wednesday.
Flames broke out at the Hobson Avenue residence just before 11 p.m.
Firefighters on scene said they were able to quickly get the fire under control.
No injuries were reported. The Red Cross is providing the residents with basic living needs.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
