PAWTUCKET, R.I. (AP/WPRI) — A man volunteering at a Pawtucket polling place was arrested after another poll worker told police he offered to perform a sex act on him for $5.
According to police, 38-year-old William Seiler of Pawtucket was volunteering at a polling place in a public housing development during Tuesday’s primary elections.
Maj. Arthur Martins says a man in his 20s, who was also volunteering, told police that Seiler told him to go into the bathroom and he would charge him $5 to perform a sex act.
The man was so appalled he called police.
Seiler was charged with loitering for prostitution. He was arraigned Wednesday and released on personal recognizance.
A message left at a phone listing for Seiler was not immediately returned.
