The Providence Animal Rescue League is about to see some big changes. Over the years, they’ve done their best to keep their building in the best shape possible in order to provide a safe and loving environment for animals in need. The dog kennels in particular have seen better days and it hasn’t gone unnoticed.
Over $100,000 has been donated by the Champlain Foundation and the Rhode Island Foundation to build a brand-new facility for the canines. The Dog Adoption Center will be more comfortable, clean, and healthy for dogs waiting to find new homes.
PARL assisted over 3,000 animals last year and are hoping to help even more in the future.
