When you have a legal problem and need a lawyer, how should you pick one?
Attorney Brian Cunha sat down with The Rhode Show to give his best advice on how to go about hiring one.
Also, after you hire that counsel is it okay to get a second opinion?
“Yes. Many people believe that they are whetted to keep an attorney for throughout the entire case and you are not. Just like when seeing a doctor, one can always get a second opinion,” Brian said.
He also says it’s okay to change counsel, “Look, there are many reasons why a client may want to change counsel. There may be a clash of personalities; there may be a difference over the direction in the case; there may be a lack of communication.”
