Cranston police arrest 3 in separate B&E investigations

CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — Cranston police have arrested three people in two separate breaking and entering investigations.

Police said at about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, 21-year-old Michael Fernando Aurelio and a 17-year-old boy were arrested for breaking into a home on Iris Drive.

About an hour later, police received a call for a break-in in progress on Edgewood Avenue. David Schenck, 41, was caught trying to escape through a basement window.

An investigation revealed he was trying to steal copper piping from the home.
