PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Eyewitness News Analyst Lt. Gen. Reginald Centracchio joined us Thursday to discuss the security plan at local schools after police received a letter threatening violence against students in Cranston, Warwick, and Johnston.
Centracchio spoke with local law enforcement and said the possibility of keeping police in schools will depend on the test results on the letter. The letter, which was handwritten and sent through the mail to Johnston police, is now being analyzed at a crime lab.
