The pumpkins are out in full force and the Roger Williams Park Zoo has been welcoming families in celebration of the Jack-o-Lantern Spectacular.
Rhode Show co-host Brendan Kirby got an inside look at the over 5,000 carved pumpkins that are on display for an amazing show that people of all ages can enjoy.
This year’s presentation is titled ‘Jack-O-Lanterns from A to Z,‘ and includes scenes filled with intricate pumpkins from pop culture, history, and inspirational figures. At the end of the trail, the laughing tree is filled with hundreds of glowing jack-o-lanterns amid spooky fog and music.
When: October 2 – November 2. Admission begins at 6 p.m. and the pumpkin trail opens at dusk.
Last admission: Sunday – Friday at 10 p.m. and the trail closes at 11 p.m. while on Saturdays last admission is at 11 p.m. and the trail closes at 12 a.m.
The Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular is open rain or shine but in cases of severe weather or weather-related technical difficulties the show might close early.
Pricing Monday – Thursday: $12 adults; $10 seniors; $9 children ages 3 – 12
Pricing Friday – Sunday: $16 adults; $14 seniors; $13 children ages 3 – 12
Toddlers two and under are admitted for free
