Volunteers to search for missing boater Saturday

LITTLE COMPTON, R.I. (WPRI) — Volunteers are planning to return to the Little Compton shoreline Saturday to resume the search for a missing fisherman.

Adam Perry, Sr. has not been seen since Thursday, October 2, when the boat he was on capsized off Sakonnet Point.

The other two fishermen who were on board with him were rescued within an hour after crews arrived on scene. The U.S. Coast Guard, police, and firefighters searched for Perry could not find him.

Now Serve Rhode Island is organizing a search for Saturday.  Volunteers are being asked to report to 11 Bluff Head Avenue in Little Compton at noon.
