PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) – Providence police detectives have identified the body found stuffed in a barrel in a wooded area off Leander Street in early September.
Major David Lapatin told Eyewitness News Sunday morning that the body was identified as 42 year-old Agustin Jaiman of Providence.
Passersby found Jaiman’s body stuffed into a trash barrel on the afternoon of September 7th, and detectives ruled it a homicide. Jaiman had been missing since late June.
Lapatin said that detectives are continuing to investigate the homicide.
Police have disclosed little other information about the case.
