Teenager killed in Mansfield car accident

MANSFIELD (WPRI) – A 19 year old man has died from his injuries five days after a car accident.

Massachusetts State Police say Christopher Hutcheon of Attleboro was pronounced dead at Rhode Island Hospital late Thursday night. Christopher was a passenger in a 2000 Toyota Camry when struck a tree and snapped in half on Saturday, October 11th. The accident happened on 495 South in Mansfield.

The driver, 19 year old Jenna Lombardo of Seekonk and passengers, 18 year old Jacob Allard and 19 year old Cameron Hutcheon, both of Attleboro, were treated for minor injuries. Cameron’s twin brother Christopher was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, he later died.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. No charges have been filed at this time.
