There’s a new viral video that’s working to help make a difference in people’s lives.
When 14-year-old Zoe Butchen’s dad, Jeff, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s a year and a half ago at only 51 years old, Zoe thought of, and launched, a heartwarming awareness and fundraising effort and branded it the Dance/Shake/Donate Challenge for Parkinson’s.
The campaign has the support of the Michael J. Fox foundation and is linked with Taylor Swift’s hit song “Shake It Off”.
The campaign was officially launched on Friday, Oct. 10 and has already raised over $15,000.
It has been featured on a variety of online, print, and radio outlets thus far and is scheduled to be on a high profile television show.
The Rhode Show hosts took a few minutes to “Shake it Off” and support this great campaign. Watch the attached video to see Will, Michaela, and Brendan dance to the tune.
You can create your own video and share it on social media sites, using the hashtag: #danceshakedonate.
