With Halloween upon us, you’ll want to make sure that children are as safe as possible while going door-to-door.
Susan Hogan joined The Rhode Show to share some safety tips which also incorporate the latest fun technology.
From light sticks and other innovative methods to help us stay seen to safer types of costume accessories, she demonstrated some great ideas that will undoubtedly help you and your family be protected while enjoying the day together.
Some of Susan’s tips and suggestions to be aware of:
- Fasten reflective tape to costumes and bags to help drivers see you.
- Hold a flashlight while trick-or-treating to help you see and others see you. Always WALK and don’t run from house to house.
- Swords, knives, and other costume accessories should be short, soft, and flexible.
- Make sure all makeup is dermatologist tested…and make sure kids remove it before going to bed.
