SWANSEA (WPRI) — A man wanted in connection to a death investigation in Dorchester was found dead in Swansea early Sunday morning.
Massachusetts State Police say Paulo Rosa’s car was found abandoned along I-195 East on the Swansea – Rehoboth line around 12:30 a.m. State Police called in air support and K-9 units to search the area. The 30-year-old’s body was discovered in the woods off the highway approximately three hours later.
Rosa was wanted by Boston Police for questioning after his girlfriend was found dead in Dorchester on Saturday afternoon.
Authorities have not said how Rosa died.
State Police tell Eyewitness News Rosa’s vehicle has been towed back to Boston, and the city’s police department is overseeing the investigation.
