Judge: no primary in Fall River recall election

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI) — It appears there won’t be a primary in the Fall River recall election.

According to The Herald News, a judge ruled Thursday that the election scheduled for December 16th will not be preliminary.

The judge also ruled that Mayor William Flanagan will appear on the top of the ballot, The Herald News reported.

Nine other candidates have filed nomination papers to run in the recall election.
