The Farrelly brothers were back in Providence on Thursday night for the screening of their latest comedy, ‘Dumb and Dumber To’.
The highly-anticipated film is for some fans something that’s been 20 years in the making. The Rhode Show caught up with some big names who appeared at that sold-out screening at the Avon.
Local guys Bobby and Peter Farrelly brought their big movie home, “You know we did it twenty years ago, I think it was December 19th, 1994 or 16th December 16th, 1994 my memory is slipping god, but that was 20 years ago and we bring it back again. It’s the highlight of our career,” said Bobby.
Another local guy and movie star James Woods came out to get a look at the movie.
“I’m not even trying to support them I just want to see a really funny movie cause I’ve heard this movie is – I’m kidding of course – I’ve heard the movie is really funny. A buddy of mine called me he lives in Scottsdale somebody saw it at a screening in L.A,. and said its incredibly funny.”
‘Dumb and Dumber To’ opens nationwide on Friday.
