SEEKONK (WPRI) – A joint effort leads to the arrest of a suspect in an armed bank robbery.
Rhode Island State Police, Pawtucket Police, Seekonk Police and United States Marshals arrested 39-year old Derik DeCosta.
On November 17, police say two men armed with guns robbed the Webster Bank on Newman Avenue in Seekonk. The suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of money. DeCosta was identified as one of the suspects.
A second suspect, Michael DiRocco, 32, of Cranston, was arrested by Rhode Island State Police earlier in the week.
DeCosta is scheduled to appear in District Court in Providence on Monday, November 24th.
