ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WPRI) — A local holiday tradition officially kicked off on Thanksgiving night in Attleboro.
Hundreds of people flocked to La Salette Shrine on Thanksgiving for the start of the 61st annual Festival of Lights celebration.
Hundreds of thousands of lights will be illuminated nightly from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. starting on Thursday and running through Sunday, January 4.
The lights span over 10 acres of land and concerts will be held each Tuesday through Sunday at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Admission is free.
The International Crèche museum with hundreds of crèches from around the world is also open from 5 to 9 p.m. weekdays and 2 to 9 p.m. on weekends.
