Chef Kaitlyn Roberts from Easy Entertaining in Providence is cooking Bacon and Blue Quiche.
1 1/2 cups Half and Half
1 cup Bacon, crispy and chopped
4 oz Blue Cheese
1/3 cup Butter
1 cup Flour, all purpose
3 table spoons Water
- Cut the 1/3 cup butter into the 1 cup Flour. Slowly add 3 table spoons of cold water until dough forms.
- Roll out crust and set in your desired pan. Chill in pan before baking for 1 hour. Meanwhile, mix your 8 eggs and 1 1/2 cups of half and half.
- Bake your crust for 10 minutes using baking beans to weigh it down.
- After cooling sprinkle the blue cheese and bacon in the empty shell and pour your egg mixture over. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
