Two women charged in massage parlor probe

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WPRI) — An undercover investigation into a South Kingstown spa resulted in the arrest of three women, of whom two are now facing charges.

According to Detective Lt. Alfred Bucco, an undercover detective entered Queen Spa on Tower Hill Road on Dec. 23 and received a massage from an unlicensed masseuse. Bucco said the masseuse offered to engage in sexual activity with the officer for a fee.

Based on that information, investigators later entered the spa and took three women into custody, and so far two have been charged.

Me Lee, 27, from Flushing, New York, was charged with one count of prostitution and one count of license required to practice massage, both misdemeanors. Chun Jin, 32, also of Flushing, was charged with one misdemeanor count of licensing of massage therapist, according to Bucco.

Police said both suspects are scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday.
