Police release photos of Warwick bank robbery suspect

WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — Police are seeking the public’s help in their search for a man accused of robbing a bank in Warwick Friday morning.

According to police, the suspect entered the Citizens Bank on West Shore Road at about 11:45 a.m. and passed a note demanding money to a teller. He then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a white male, standing between 5-foot-10 and 6 feet tall, with a thin build and reddish-brown beard and mustache.

A K9 unit was seen searching the wooded area behind the bank following the robbery.
