SMITHFIELD, R.I. (AP) — Connor Boehm scored 20 points on 7-of-9 shooting, Alex Mitola chipped in 14 points and Dartmouth defeated Bryant 76-59 on Wednesday.
Mitola had nine rebounds with four assists and Boehm grabbed seven boards for the Big Green (6-6), which shot 43.6 percent from the field and had 18 assists on 24 field goals. Malik Gill dished out five assists and John Golden added nine points with four assists.
Bryant (3-6) went 20 of 57 overall and got outrebounded 43-30. Joe O’Shea paced the Bulldogs with 12 points and six rebounds, while Dyami Starks and Hunter Ware added 10 points apiece.
Dartmouth erased an early eight-point deficit and closed the first half on a 22-8 run for a 35-25 halftime lead. Miles Wright and Boehm each converted three-point plays during the surge.
Boehm and Mitola each hit 3-pointers for a 43-26 lead in the second half and Dartmouth coasted from there.
