CHANDLER, Arizona (WPRI) — While Southern New England is dealing with a massive winter storm, preparations are getting underway for the Super Bowl in Arizona.
The Patriots made their way to Arizona for Super Bowl XLIX on Monday. The team took off from Logan on Monday after a big send-off rally in Boston.
Party Boulevard in downtown Phoenix is hardly living up to it’s name, as construction crews flood the city in preparation for the super match up between the Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks.
And excited fans are arriving from all over the country.
Ernie Woods of Boston said that he is a frequent attendee of Super Bowl games, and that he is confident that the Patriots have it in them to take home the trophy this year.
“I think this time we will be alright,” he said.
